- Senior IT/OT Analyst
Description
Provides support to the Technology group and works with technology planning and implementation throughout the Division. Provides guidance to the Division regarding technology issues, including SCADA, hydraulic modeling, Asset Management, process control, data, software applications, GIS and other related issues. Tracks and reports on technology issues that may impact the Division. Provides a technical/engineering perspective to all technology initiatives related to the Division.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering, Computer Science or related Science degree with 10+ years of related experience in software implementation of SCADA and process control, and related software.
- Other computer skills that include Microsoft Office, SQL servers, Rockwell Automation software, GE, iFIX, ESRI GIS, networking and application programming, object-oriented methodologies, reporting tool development, database design, and cyber security.
- Significant experience in water and sewer modeling software and related hydraulic analysis of water and sewer systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to work with end users and external vendors in the resolution of a variety of computer issues.
- The incumbent is required to communicate technical information in non-technical terms.
- Analytical ability and computer skills necessary to design, develop, coordinate and maintain computer, network and telecommunication systems.
- Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and qualify to drive a Division vehicle in compliance with the Division Driver Policy.
